Sometimes my a.s hurts right between my penis and my a.shole (Starts
kicking trolls away), it passes after a few mins. The pain could
start before or after bowel movement, in the morning, in the car (had
to pull over). I was wondering if there was any reason. I never felt
this before since starting Akins. I lost 75 lbs btw. Yes, I have
been drinking plenty of water and multi-v's. And not sexualy active
except for M.B.(Pulls out the big guns for the trolls). I guess I
should see a dr, but I can't pin down what brings the pain on. I run
and nothing, I lift weights and nothing. It is very unpredictable for
when the pain comes, and it might even be months.
Any thoughts? (No trolls)

You posted this to a prostate cancer newsgroup. I am only a
knowledgeable layman who has had prostate cancer, but it seems unlikely
to me that what you are describing is caused by prostate cancer.
However, you should see your doctor. Just tell him/her what you've told
us. He/she can take it from there.

After I had my prostate removed I noticed two things that were different: 1)
BM's seem much easier since the enlarged gland was removed, 2) Occasionally
I'll have a sharp pain in the same place you mentioned and a BM will "cure"
it.

It does seem to relate to my diet of meat and BM's...I think you are
right for last poster. I think the pain comes when I eat more meat
than usual. Since the begining of the year I have been eating only
softer foods such as ice cream and peanut butter for dinner. I'll
have to reduce my portion of meat types if I crave it for dinner. But
I will ask the dr on my next visit.
