I had PVP yesterday afternoon about 1:30 P.M. .  Spinal was done.  I
felt nothing.  I left hospital about 7:00 P.M. I prefer spinal to past
experience with general. Catheder was left in over night.  I took it
out this morning.  First urination burned and contained blood.  Doctor
gave me Emperin with Codiene which I then took.  Since then I've voided
a few times.  Each one stronger, longer and less pink.  Less pain but
this may be due to the Emperin.  I'm drinking a lot fo water.

I'm scheduled to be off work for two weeks.  I plan on taking it very
easy.

I'm 58 years old; 5'10" - 165 pounds.  Doctor said my weight
contributed to decision to go with spinal.
