Urologist:  Dr Laub, Santa Barbara CA
Procedure:  PVP laser for BPH, one of Dr. Laub's early cases.  painless
outpatient procedure.
Early result:  Some blood tinged urine.  At first flow was slow and emptying
incomplete.  Dr Laub was worried that he did not remove enough tissue.  This
gradually improved as healing occurred.
Two years later:  flow rate 15 ml/sec.  (low normal)
                            residual urine 10 ml.  (minimal)
                            symptoms: up once or twice,
                                                otherwise OK.
                            ejaculation:  normal
                            overall evaluation:  well satisfied.
