One month after PVP bleeding has stopped, strong stream with pain only
immediately before and after urination, but urgency and frequency have
gotten slightly worse.. My doctor recommend trying an antiflammatory drug
such as Motrin and if that does not work back to Flomax or Hytrin. I have
started using Sulindac which has worked very well for me for joint pain and
back pain. I'll keep you informed. Irv

Irv,

Try the herbal called 'nexrutine' for a natural antiflammatory, Cox-2
inhibitor. Can be found with a Google search.  I was on Vioxx for
months and it started giving me abdominal pains. I prefer herbals.

There is a drug called PROSED/DS that works great.
I had my PVP on July 31 and had all your symtoms until Dr. Lin wrote me a
perscription for the above drug.  It turns your urine blue/green but it
works great!  I took it for over ten days.  When I went off it the pain came
back but not as bad then only lasted a few days then was gone.

Ask you uro about it.  If he does not know about it, tell him to find out
about it because you need it now.
