I had my PVP five weeks ago in St Augustine. Dr lin was the surgeon,
everything was progressing well; good stream, pain inside the penis near the
tip almost gone. Very happy until the last few days when my prostate has
started to ache, getting worse day by day. I will call Dr Lin's office
tomorrow for advice but,  I know he is away for two weeks and, I am five
hours by car. Bad timing. Anyone have pains like this?

Can you describe the pain.  Where is it located?  Is it a sting, a burn...?

It's like a dull toothache. Located about where I think the prostate is
located. Behind the bone which is above the penis. A hot bath usually helps,
a somewhat full bladder makes it worse.

I would suggest the aching is simply the tightening of the scar tissue being
formed in the new canal opened up by PVP ..........think of what happens
with a skin wound

As soon as underneath the scar has healed the top will slough off and pass
out and you should loose the ache

Try allowing a pill of  Homeopathic Arnica ( they call it the Amazing
Healer )to dissolve under your tongue  6 times a day this will speed up the
process
