Heard recently of someone who had TUMT over a year ago who passed dead
tissue at 10 months and 13
months after the procedure.  Had my TUMT 6 months ago but have never passed
any tissue.  Any TUMTers out there who have passed dead tissue?

How well did your procedure work?.  How are you doing now?

My AUA Symptom Score dropped from 21 to 10.  Still have occasional feeling
of not completely emptying.  Measured bladder capacity during the day seems
to range 300-400 cc.  Still need to get up 2x per night which is down from
every 1.5 - 2 hours before the TUMT.  Tried to dc Uroxatral but found some
problems getting flow started.    Goal is to get off alphablockers but
unsuccessful so far.  Had the usual flow test Monday, but the machine jammed
and gave erroneous readings.  Will have a cystoscopy and flow test done Feb
2 to get a baseline on the condition of the urethra and prostate.  Overall,
had a good response from the TUMT without any side effects, but maybe not as
great an improvement as expected.  Be anxious to find out what the URO sees
Feb 2.
