I had a TURP 5 years ago and have had no problems since until 4 days ago
when I began to see blood in my urine occasionally, usually in the form of
very small clots.  Has anyone out there had this problem?  I had a routine
check and PSA 2 months ago and everything was fine.

I know, I know, I know, you are wondering why I don't see my uro.  That's
because he will probably  want to do some invasive tests, such as a biopsy,
and I would like to avoid that until absolutely necessary.

I'll appreciate any input.  Thanks.

If your PSA was normal two months ago he would not likely do a Biopsy.
Should go see your uro anyway.

This could possibly be a kidney problem!

Had you been doing any heavy lifting just prior to seeing the blood.?  If so
that was probably the cause and it should be cleared up by now.

Just out of interest on this topic, when I was a kid, I suffered a really
hard knock in the kidneys when playing. That night I went for a pee and it
was entirely blood. Turned out I had ruptured a kidney.

Something to consider....
