Well, another week has gone by so thought I would pass
on what's happening.
Still minor pain..discomfort...when peeing. Usually, especially
as the day goes on, just a bit pinkish and a very occasional
small clot or something. Sleep through the nite just fine.
Biggest problem is urgency, this also usually gets worse as
the day goes on. Mid afternoon seem to have to go every
half hour or so. Flow is decent, but not much total volume
each time. Sometime within just a few minutes the urge returns.
Week 2 was about the same as at the end of week one. So far, so
good, I think.
Will post week 3 unless everyone is getting tired of this.  <g>

Zork,
I guess you know that the urgency situation will improve over time. Sleeping
through the night is a very good sign.

I had those symptoms in my second week and  Dr. Te prescribed
Phenazopyridine and Cipro for me which seemed to help after awhile.  Jim W.

Zork,
Keep posting.  It's valuable to get everyone's experience in dealing with a
PVP.

ZORK:  you and I are running rather close time lines.  Thanks for your
posts.   I have just finished week 2 and started into week 3.  Urgency is
vastly diminished, stream still strong, still some drips of blood.  Am not
on any meds.  I also read the posts at the following site and found that
helpful.   Rule number 4 in particular.

All the best of luck in your healing and in the new year.
