Anyone have any information or experience with PVP for a median lobe
protrusion into the bladder aka a ball-valve?

TUNA, TUMT, thermal, alcohol, etc. are NG for a ball-valve.  That leaves
TURP, PVP or holmium laser as the only alternatives.

Based on the Laserscope site video of a complete PVP procedure, PVP is at
the head of the list.  But the video was not for a ball-valve.

I can't seem to locate any good information re PVP with a ball-valve by
searching the Laserscope site or using Google.   Contacted Laserscope but so
far no reply.

Jay,
Your conclusions are correct.  Please see all my stuff going back three

I had a huge asymetrical median lobe protuding into my bladder.

Jay I had a large median lobe, almost half the mass of my enlarged prostate,
when I had a PVP 18 months ago.  I was warned that retro was a strong
possibility, and I still have retro.  At age 75 I really don't care that
much about it, still have orgasms and ejaculate most of the time.  The semen
come out mostly with the first urination after having ejaculated.  I am very
happy I had the PVP done, getting up at most once a night, flow rate has
increased 5 to 7 times what is was pre PVP and I am able to hold urine in
the bladder most better than before.  Leakage was a real problem for me when
I had to go.
