Has anyone had any experience with the TherMatrx?  My uro has presented
this as a possible option.  Any info would be appreciated.

I had TUMT A few years ago using a different device. Al was well fro a few
months until my BPH symptoms returned. I had TUMT again, using TherMatrx
with similar results. All in all, I am probably better off than before the
procedures, but I am not a really satisfied customer.

There may be other problems. I have always peed a lot and still do.
Typically, I void over a liter during sleep time in 250 to 300 ml batches.

To "Repeating Rifle" ....did you discuss the levels of your DHT or estrogens
with your urologist?   If you had a recurrence of BPH,  I wonder if that had
to do with the fact that your DHT or Estrogens were way too high to start
with and if the surgery may be merely eliminating the symptoms only
temporarily?   May be worth a bit of bloodwork to find out?   My DHT is way
off the top of the scale and I just had PVP...so, I am anxious to know if I
can expect my BPH to come roaring back in a short period of time?   The
doctors could not give me any assurances.   Best of luck to you.

I had ThermatRX in June 2002.  The procedure was a little uncomfortable,
but not painful. I wore a catheter for 5 days, and at first there was
improvement.  However, it was not lasting for me and I went back on
Hytrin and now am researching PVP to really take care of my BPH

I am 50+ and had Thermatrx in September 2004 by Dr. W in NJ.  The procedure
had no effect whatsoever.  There was no improvement after 6 weeks...6
months...  Right now I am planning to do Greenlight PVP.  Bob, did you
follow through with the PVP?  If so, how was your result.  Once again, I
STRONGLY do not recommend Thermatrx, it does not work.
