This is a follow up to my post titled "Bleeding like crazy 16 months post
PVP":

I just got a call back from Dr. Lin.  He said " If you lifted something very
heavy that bleeding can happen."  I should not be concerned if it only
happened once and stopped.  He said, "If it happens again, call me.  In the
meantime you should have your PSA measured."

He asked about my stream size and retro.  I told him that my retro just
cleared up and now works normally.  I told him that I have noticed that my
stream size gets smaller if I refrain from sex for a week.  He said that
this is because of "congestion" in the gland and  to not let it build up. He
also remarked that it can take a long time for retro to become normal after
a PVP. He still remembered me, and told me that a someone on this NG that I
referred to him came to him and is also doing well now.

Dave

PS.  If your looking for a world class doctor to do your PVP who has a human
touch, I still highly recommend Dr. Lin.
It was worth the long trip from Northern Virginia to Florida.  Flagler
hospital is the best hospital I have been in and having lost my wife to
cancer, I have been in a lot of hospitals.

My bet is it wasn't sex unless you think "taking things in had" is sex! :)

Hey -
Prescribing is not supplying. Or was that what his team of nurses was for!

Be aware - PSA tests have come under scrutiny themselves, being reported to
be about as good as a finger up the bum to be sure you dont have cancer.
Neither test, apparently, is conclusive.

Hey, this isn't funny.  Some of us have a serious problem with congestion,
especially those with a certian kind of prostatitis.

Sure it's funny. If you cant laugh when you are suffering, all you can be is
someone to avoid for all around you. Laugh at it. The truth is someone else
probably is.

OK, it's funny.  But it still is a serious problem for some.  I find it
interesting that some doctors know about the problem and offer good advice
to take care of it.  Others, have no idea what you are talking about.
Still laughing...
;-)

I am a suffer. I am likely to die of it or oxygen starvation due to other
health issues or a heart attack due to both. I get up every day, find
something funny, laugh at it and work because Euthanasia is illegal and if I
commit suicide, my wife gets nothing.

Laugh at it. You NEED to laugh.
