It seems there should be no reason for you to wait that long. They should be able to give you the results witthin 48 hours.  You would think they could put such situations on the fast track. The bastards.

 Just had one..not too bad, just felt the  1st couple needles of the
 novarcain shots. The 12  Biopsy shots not too bad..the probe hurt the
 most with all the twisting.  Dr pointed out to me on the ul sound screen
 a few cysts (Said Cysts were normal) and the enlargemnt of the Prostate
 pushing on the bladder. WHY ??? do they make you wait a week for the
 results? And they have you come in....Have to sweat it out for a week ?
 Just praying for good news. Any  encougement appreciated.. also Dr said
 all looked good as far as what was on the viewnig screen..       Howie

Had my TURP done in Mexico. We stayed at the home of the lab technician who did the biopsy examination. When she came home after work she seemed to be avoiding me and I couldn't help wondering why, thinking the worst of coarse. Finally I got up the nerve to approach her and ask, "benigno", what a relief.
