I don't know about the drug affecting it so wont comment on that bit.

However, I would like to add that what you eat and how you sleep also affect
your sex drive. Apparently low zinc in your diet is a major contributing
factor to low libido.

Gary:  low sex drive may result from lowered blood pressure--that's what
Flomax does, it lowers the blood pressure in the "lower half of the body".
But, careful, it lowers blood pressure throughtout the body.   Try running
up a flight of stairs while on Flomax...you'll pass out, so, be careful.
Plus the concern about the BPH- prostate, plus, restless nights running to
the can, etc.   It just may be ruining the "mood".   Yes, your libido ought
to be a tad lower, too.  No suggestions to how to get over it.   Try some
videos to set the mood.   Or, try backing off it for a day, (if you can
survive), and that may make a difference.  I got rather jazzed up by
skipping the pill on Saturday and had great sex.   I never liked the fact
that Flomax caused me to retro, so, that too, spoiled the "mood".   If you
ever enjoyed great sex--to the point where you "smelled strawberries!!"--  
retro is a real f.ck up!!!    You may want to try Arginine, (but be
careful!, it is somewhat like those pecker raisers out there, i.e., VIAGRA
and the like.)  Good luck to you.   Great sex is something that ought to be
missed!!!   And, NO!!!!   It has nothing to do with getting older...unless
you drink, eat lots of fatty foods,  and can't control your blood sugar!
