Note to Michael:

Soy isoflavones can be a source of the phytoestrogen daidzein, and that in
turn can help to regulate DHT, (in my non-medical opinion).    So, this
makes a lot of sense.   Please share with the group your DHT level from your
blood work, the brand, the concentration per capsule stated on the bottle,
the number of capsules or the amount/dosage of soy isoflavone you took, and
how long before you had a noticeable difference?   Some of us may be able to
benefit by matching your dosage if we have similar DHT blood levels.
Thanks in advance.   Useful info.    Thanks.

Isovalvines -40 mg..take one in the morning and one at night--Dr. Cherry
said is was like eating soy that the people in Japan eat and have no
prostate BHP.

Note to Larry:

I have not tried it, but did try Saw Palmetto.  One study that I am aware of
and that I found credible at the time I had read it, showed Saw Palmetto to
have some influence on lowering DHTs.  Trinovin, based on the adverts., is
supposed to have a similar effect to Saw Palmetto, is it not?  So, this
stuff MIGHT work if your bloodwork shows your DHT to be within the normal
range?   (In my non-medical opinion).  Regardless, results will vary by
blood level of DHT, if it indeed is a DHT regulator.  Hopefully, responses
to your question will include a comment by the poster about his DHT levels,
too, so we can determine if it works for those in normal range or above
normal?

Wishing you the very best of luck.

Used to take it for a couple of years and it made no appreciable difference
to me though I was taking it for other reasons. I gave up taking it and had
no real difference made again.
