i am wondering if anybody can help me with any sort of answer or
information to the problem i am currently having. Or point me to some
web site. I had my prostate removed last january and now after 9
months i still have some random pain with no pattern at all at the
urethra, never at night, just during the day, it starts by itching a
bit and then it turns into pain. I am currently taking antidepressive
to increase the threshold of pain.
if anybody can help me in any way, i would be very very grateful!
thank you

You might get more information by posting in
alt.support.prostate.cancer

But what you describe doesn't sound like a common experience.   You may
have a stricture from the surgery or from the catheter or it may have
nothing to do with the surgery.   You should talk to your doctor about
it.  I would think a competent urologist could determine the source of
the problem.  I don't see how an antidepressive drug would help.

here is what you have got to do fabio
get you some amytriptyline for the nerve pain, some aspirin for
inflammation,
a very good digestive enzyme to whip those bowels in shape, some ghinko
biloba,
take 2 beano's everytime you eat, some of those chewable pills for ibs
2 times a day,2 zantac's 2 times day and some back exercises for the
lower spine, massage your dick with vitamin e oil 2 times aday.a little
selinium
may also help.if the amytriptyline doesn't work real good try diazipam
at bed time.you may also have to take some propoxyphene for the pain
for a short while.
just in case you are wondering who i am. i am the worlds foremost
authority
on groin pain and cp. if you don't follow my recomendations you are in
for a
lifetime of pain.do as a say and you will be on the road to recovery
