It has been one year since I had PVP performed at the Cleveland Clinic. I
have not taken any medication since. I have a fairly good stream but it
always ends in a dribble. I have no pain. Urgency has been substantially
reduced but not eliminated. Frequency has been reduced but not to a really
satisfactory point. I am 78 years old and I imagine my lack of full recovery
is due to my age. I am glad I had PVP but I do not have any way of comparing
it with TURP.

Now that your stream is good can you try one of the bladder relaxing meds
for the frequency problem? Jim W.
