It would be most helpfull to all if you could include in your post's
some background: ie, age, meds. taking & any other information (how long
you have had "pissitiss :-)?
I am + 30 months PVP, and a " happy camper." However, if I drink a case
of beer thru the afternoon & evening, I AM going to make frequent trips
to the "room" for most of the night, just as I did when I was 25..If a
behave, and avoid large intake of any liquid before 6:pm, I'm good until
long after sunrise.
More to come, you unlucky curmudgeons:And not all of us are "old
phucks." BTW, I am 64, and do like my Vet. ;-)

jon,
you had your PVP 30 months ago ?!? That would be Dec 2001. I thought I was
one of the first to have it done 24 months ago in June of 2002. Glad things
are going well for you.

Well now, I listened to "Sweetness" (who is never wrong) some time ago
regarding dates. She now retracts her "helpfulness" and confirms my date
of surgery as 1/24/03.. Seems to me that I am still most pleased. :-)
Seventeen months of freedom from Pissitis still is pleasing to me, and I
have no reason to believe things will change..:-)
Your posts, among others, convinced me that PVP was the way to go. It
seems that many are not aware of the fact that the original name of our
proceedure was "Laser Niagara?" The simplistic explaination (mine)is
that, as well as the Laser, the sterile water that cools the Laser's
heat, also carries away residues. This proceedure was originated at the
Mayo Clinic, and also at Weil-Cornell in New York City.
Thanks for the comments Patrick, and it seems, we should spend more time
here.
