Al, how about daytime? Was there an improvement in urgency (i.e. bladder
capacity before urgency starts)? Thanks, Jim W.
Jim:
The urgency that I feel in the daytime varies. There are still times
when out of the blue...I have to go and go now. Other times it isn't
so bad. I do feel that I can empty my bladder better. I can now
really push and push and get more each time. I couldn't do it before
the PVP. I am still waiting for a good night's sleep. The tylenol pm
seems to help the most.

how badly the bladder was damaged /affected in all the pre PVP months/ years
It takes time to reducate the bladder and for some people a determination
that they rule their body now instead of the prostate ruling it
for EG .......I too continued to wake several times a night and
automatically got up to pee ........after several weeks of this i simply
decided one night to stay in bed and not get up .........2 nights of this
and my body got the message that no longer did i need to wake during the
night to relieve what had previously been a pressure call

I'm almost 2 months post PVP. Prior, I couldn't sleep well at all without
Flomax. Up several times-- bad for a person with somewhat hosed sleep
to begin with. The flomax was awful.
The PVP surely fixed that. Frequently I sleep all night long.
What's not working so well is daytime. After the first month, this
problem is actually getting worse. Every couple of hours, I have
to go! It's worst when I stand after sitting. And even though not
much is discharged, there's no ignoring it.
One hopes this gets better. Bladder re-training is going slowly.
Otherwise, I'm quite happy. Bill Hale Brownrigg, MD Pueblo Colo > 100 pvp
