Does anyone have any knowledge about Dr. Mahmood Hai?

Dr. Hai performs PVP (photo-selective vaporization of the prostate)
procedures in Detroit, Michigan (Cherry Hill Medical Center, Westlake).  He
is supposedly a 'preceptor' or trainer of other urologists for the
Laserscope procedure.

I know one person had a VERY negative experience. I was going to see Dr. Hai
and cancelled. I believe the posters ID was KARL. Maybe you can search
Google Groups and find his comments.

Keep in mind this was just one person, but nobody else seemed to have any
experience with him.

I am now going to see Dr. Wei. His office is in Livonia but he is affiliated
with U. of Mich. hospital. I'll post comments of my impressions after my
Monday appointment.

I think this guy is one of the pioneers of PVP.  I wouldn't put too much
stock in a single data point. (ref. the other message.)

Lee:

You are probably correct. However, there were no other experiences listed.
