Group:
It's been 21 days since my PVP. I am thrilled. It was slow in the
start but just as people here told me, it will improve and it did. I
can pee better and I'm off of that dreaded Flomax that dulled my
brain. I feel that my IQ is improving daily and that's terrific. I
can now remember how to chew gum.
I'm glad that I chose a pvp. So far no incontinence, I'm not
impotent and I'm feeling so much better. Should have done this years
ago.

Al, can you tell me what symptoms you had with Flomax? I was on it
for a few years and had periods of confusion, loss of thoughts,
inability to finish sentences. I think people should know about this.
This was in my mid 50's.

Barry and others:
My experience with Flomax was both good and bad. I had used Saw
Palmetto for a very long time with fairly good results. Upon a visit
to my urologist, he suggested Flomax instead of Saw Pal. Well....I did
and for a while I was much better. Better pee flow etc. But I soon
had ED. I lost my libido and had almost no ejaculate if and when I
could have sex. But....even bigger and worse...I had brain fog. I
had it bad. It was after I followed this news group that I connected
the dots. I came to feel it was the Flomax. So now after my PVP....I
do seem to be much much better. I don't know if it was the Flomax or
the general loss of sleep because of getting up to pee....but I do
know that I feel smarter now. Hope it continues.
But....post PVP....I am still not sleeping as well as I wish I
could. I still have to get up several times at night....just like
before. The improvement is a better flow rate. Besides that....I do
feel better.
