What is it, how do I learn more about it? Sorry, new to this.
Jason,
You need to go to a urologist to first determine the cause of the blockage.
It could be because of a large prostate or some prostate tissue blocking the
urine flow. It might also be due to a bladder problem. This can be
determined by bladder (urodynamic) testing. Once you find the cause of the
problem, you then must decide whether to treat it by medicines, various
supplements, or more invasive procedures like surgery. Take the time to go
back and read postings to this newsgroups. If you see the abbreviation
'PVP',
- that refers to Greenlight Laser surgery. There is also the Turp, Tuna,
microwave etc. Take it one step at a time.

Thank you so much. Hopefully it's minor.

hi jason - you didn't give your age - just the symptoms. since this is
a newsgroup about BPH which occurs in the mid years of a man's life. i'm
assuming you qualify, but i've also seen men who were in the 20's with
the same symptoms and it was due to a low grade STD that just kept
getting worse.
in either case, my recommendation is to go the uro and hear what he has
to say.
hope this helps.

hi jason - that's young for BPH condition. but it definitely sounds
like it's time to pull into the uro's office and have them raise the
hood and check the oil.
if you are not voiding all the way, and from what you are explaining,
sounds like voiding is a challenge, then you are sitting yourself up for
a UTI which will put you at the doctor's office anyway.
the symptoms you have is a warning sign that something's not right.
