I had a cystoscope exam yesterday. Still burning when I pee, especially
those first few drops. The nurse said it could last 2-3 days. What's been
the experience of those who have had this done?

About a week. It probably depends on how much irritation was caused, so it
will vary. When I had it really bad, a warm bath helped relax me so that I
could pee.

I had one yesterday also, and there was some burning but it's almost
gone today. One surprising result of the exam was a very strong flow
several hours afterward. Unfortunately I'm now back to the usual trickle.

I've had 3-4 cystos. After each of them I had pain while attempting to
urinate and was unable to urinate for several hours. When I was able to
urinate in about 3-4 hours, I had a slight burning pain that lasted for 2-3
days. Next cysto, I'm going to ask for some Vicodin.

Sometimes the burn can go on for weeks especially if you had a big prostate.
There is a drug that turns your pee blue/green and makes the pain go away.
Unfortunately I can't remember the name of this drug.
BTW, this makes for a great magic trick. I told someone that I could pee
any color I wanted. As luck would have it she picked green and, to her
amazement, I complied.
