An emotional fix

Have any of you noticed that the cry for help from the prostate gland
or any other part of you is asking you to please look seriously at the
stress your emotional life is causing them?  In my current opinion,
negative emotions are the underlying cause of most illness and it
seems worth it to look at what effect bad emotions have on us before
letting a surgeon fix it.  Since a doctor has told me to get a TURP,
I've decided to pay attention to the loud cry for help from my gland
and do something about my negative emotional life while there's still
time to repair the damages of a life time of stressful
attitudes/feelings which have only now begun to take their toll.  I
can't say that all is perfect but somehow the decision to change my
negative attitudes seems to be helping those over stressed parts of me
that have been sending out pleading messages for so long.  It can't
but help to take off the pressure of unconscious, automatic stress and
let the affected parts relax and heal.

I am sure emotions play a large part in illnesses as we certainly produce
assorted chemicals/hormones when we are happy or sad.

Still, it clearly is not the major cause of illnesses, but I'm sure it is
important!
