Anyone has info about it?

I found acupuncture to be of great benefit but I'm still likely to
need surgery, laser or otherwise. Combined with diet, herbs, and
exercise it has improved my overall health significantly. It hasn't
removed the mass of prostate tissue that is obstructing the passage
from my bladder but if I started with it 10 years ago, I probably
wouldn't be in the condition I'm in now.

Thanks for sharing.
Can you please give some details as to when you've started using
acupuncture, how often, for how long etc.?

Sure helped me! Two months Post-PVP I was in bad shape.....the whole ball of
wax: urgency, frequency and intense pain. A day after acupuncture, it was as
though the healing process (which had seemed dormant) suddenly kicked in.
Make sure acupuncturist hits the meridians behind the knees. It sends some
kind of energy to the bladder-prostate-rectal synergy of nerves. Won't
reduce prostate size, but sure as hell reduces inflammation. Highly
recommended!

In what state is your acupuncturist (geographically speaking)?

I've been going for annual 'check-ups/tune-ups' for a number of years
but being in generally good health and not presenting any symptoms
didn't seem to need any greater frequency. About 4 months ago I
switched insurance plans and started with a new urologist. He was
alarmed at the fullness of my bladder and insited on draining it. I
spent 11 days on a catheter and haven't peed normally since. I started
regular acupuncture at that time, at first once or twice a week. Now
I'm down to once every two or three weeks. I'm still in full retention
but had some urodynamic testing last week and am happy to report that
my bladder has regained its tonicity. I attribute that primarily to
the acupuncture treatment.

I've had acupuncture for several problems....sinus infections, back,
hypertension, fatigue....
Nothing was effective until I was treated for post-PVP problems. I received
immediate, if not complete, relief. The acupuncturist I use is in Northern
California. I only go twice a month and have been treated for post PVP
symptoms since the end of January.

Would you care to name your acupuncturist and where in No. California
he's located?  I'm in Tracy and might like to see him if he's close by.

Don in Tracy, Calif.
