Cranberries are good.  Apparently they prevent bacteria from adhering
to the bladder wall.

Glad to hear all of these comments.  I found some Craisins at Sams and
really like them.  They are a dried cranberry like a raisin but taste
better.  The only problem is that they are sweetened with sugar.

I've been self cath-ing for months and careful about infection. I've
been drinking Mountain Sun pure unsweetened cranberry juice and feel
it's cleansing the whole urinary system. A bit pricey at $6 a quart
but well worth it. I've only seen it at health food stores and buy it
by the case. I also take URI formula from Professional Solutions
(formerly Gaia Herbs).

I also take Solaray CranActin capsuls ("guaranteed bacterial antiadherence
activity").
