Just back from a 1,000 mile round trip (or there about's) to
King's College to see Mr Cutting (I think), Muir's assistant for
a final check after PVP in early December. Took the train both
ways.

It is a looong journey, but made bearable by having the company
of a very nice female blonde student of dentistry on the way
down!<G> (She had the longest legs I've ever seen on a
dentist!).  My travelling companion on the return journey looked
like a failed Hell's Angel and communicated in grunts. Oh well,
can't win 'em all I suppose. :(

The check up was a bit of a waste of time really. Just confirmed
I was OK and mentioned the two incidents of bleeding, the last a
bit scary on the 17th January. That is apparently not unexpected
or abnormal and nothing particularly to worry about. "It will
all settle down in due course".

They wanted a flow test "just for the record" but the nurse who
does that had gone home. So it will be done locally and the
results sent on. Seems I am cured!<G> Hope everyone here has as
successful an outcome!

So back home again. Snow? What snow? Lot of fuss about nothing!
The worst was about four inches at Drumochter, all but gone by
the return journey.

Certainly a long journey but one of which you are pleased you made,
especially the initial one.

Well that is good, pleased you had this confirmed.

We had a great deal of snow where we are in East Yorkshire, but it has now
almost gone with the sunshining for some time now.

I await the result from the local Primary Care Trust in respect of my
application to be referred to Mr Muir.
