Some haven't found saw palmetto extract helpful, but LEF sells three
products: saw palmetto, saw palmetto-nettle root, and saw
palmetto-pygeum-nettle root.

If my memory serves be correctly, the pygeum blocks the DHT receptors
in the prostate and also reduces size due to edema, while the nettle
stops cell proliferation.

LEF recommends the saw palmetto alone only for early stage or
prevention purposes and target the over-50 group with the other two
products.
