One of the syptoms of hydrocephalus (water on the brain or excess
cerebo-spinal fluid, CSF) is inability to completely control urine flow. So
far, I have had two TUMT treatments that did not have permanent alleviation
of BPH symptoms. As a result of other debilitating problems, I finally got
my brain MRIed. This showed accumulation of CSF. A spinal tap (lumbar
puncture) has alleviated some of these other symptoms. Possibly there is a
slight improvement of BPH symptoms.

Has anyone on this newsgroup run into such problems? what were the outcomes?
what other information is available on this subject?

One of the practial problems is that I had had to be my own medical general
contractor. I have not found it possible to have my primary care physician
to actually coordinate by treatments. I have to be a sqaueaky wheel. It is
even difficult to get extra physician time, even if I am willing to pay for
it myself. Medicare limits physcians, the best I can figure out, from
accepting extra payment outside of medicare.

The propaganda in the USA is that we have the best possible medical care in
the world. This is not true. Between doctors, lawyers, patients, insurance
companies, government etc, have made it virtually impossible for good
practical medicine to flourish. Everyone is trying to not pay or cover their
a.s.
