Is it possible to have nodules with BPH ?  Or does the presence of a
nodule automatically mean cancer ?

Nodule and cancer (and for that matter BPH) have nothing to do with
each other. Usually one would not refer to a tumor (which could be
malignant (cancerous) or non-malignant (benign)) as being a "nodule".
Have a look up the numerous medical dictionaries on line.

Thanks, unknown.    I've been checked every year for the past 6 years
and this is the first nodule detected.   I suppose I can hope.   For a
little while, anyway.

I don't know about "automatically", but if I were you, I would have a
biopsy done promptly if your uro recommends that.

Thanks Ed.   I've had BPH for five years,  now this.   Got the good
news during my annual physical.   Have appointment with uro for next
week.
