At age 68, I've had BPH for five years. I suppose you would describe
my case as moderate. I tend to go to the bathroom about every three
to four hours. Sometimes suddenly.
I just got a notice to report for jury service. Has anybody served
lately and is it difficult with BPH ? Any thoughts would be
appreciated.

If you are willing to serve 3 or 4 hours will be no problem.
Otherwise you can use BPH as an excuse to get out of serving.

I live in Dallas and was called to Jury duty--you went into a big
auditorium and waited-they had bathrooms nearby---they called some jury
numbers and those people went to serve... after 2 hours they told about 1/2
of us(300) to go home because we would not be needed... their was ample
opportunity to go to the bathroom-you will be fine--they sent me $6 for
serving -but parking cost me $8.

I did not want to feel uncomfortable sitting there and had my G.P. write a
letter that I sent back with the call to service.
