Guess I'm not as sharp with the computer stuff as I once was.
Will blame it on old-age.

Could you please tell me, very specifically, how I go about "checking the
history"

My original Post:

Have just started Avodart, after giving up after 6 months with Flomax.

Read that Avodart makes psa readings for (possible) prostate cancer as a
test meaningless.

This seems like a bit of a problem, as you sure don't want to have periodic
biopsies to test for.

Are there any "good" other tests to replace the typical psa one for testing,
that one's MD may, or may not, be
too familiar with ?
