Not knowing what to expect, has caused  living in despair 24/7 since
Jul 9 and after Jul 21.

Avoiding negative talk has been a challenge.
"Once you have surgery, it's unrepairable"
"The BPH will always return and you'll  need surgery every so many
years."
"You'll never be the same"
"You'll wear diapers for life"
"Be on medication for life"
"Retrograde for life"

I must be living in fantasyland! Thinking the uro would explain the
pros-cons of PVP before and after surgery, relating to cases actually
done.
SHOW AN INTEREST! Instead of being secretive.
After the Jul 21 20 mnt non-stop dilation, (a new found respect for
uro Marks) I would experience involuntary leakage, blood drops upon
bowel movements. (no straining involved, so no need for a stool
softener)
Bowel movements are lengthier and thorough since post PVP to now.
Third day: Slept for a solid two hrs, burning, involuntary leakage has
subsided. Awoke with a erection, 'though I had to go pee. (Still foamy
and clear as Chardonay)
My confidence is returning. Exertion is kept to a minimum. Staying in
for the day. Have not ejaculated since 7/18. First RetroGrade
experience on 7/12. (PVP 7/9)
Will post if RG continues.
It would help if there where archives  before and after of
testimonials from those who've experienced different type of
procedures pro and con. As well as what was done succeding, by
avoiding surgery.
Lord knows I tried, and succumbed choosing PVP over TURP.
Whishing u all, best in prostate health.

In the years of reading this NG since Patrick the first person reported
having had a PVP I have only heard of one other person having remotely any
similar problems to you.  You've been reading posts here for a long time you
had no reason to expect anything like this.
Personally I would:
a See another Uro.
b See a lawyer.
Derek.
