Ramón - 12 Jul 2008 12:49 GMT Ejaculated three days after laser surgery, and not a drop of prostatic fluid. Urination is stronger than ever. Anyone with this experience? Thanks Ramón

Rich256 - 13 Jul 2008 15:42 GMT > Ok, will RE go away? No. It has been discussed here again and again. It is one of the more common results of PVP and TURP. As someone here said a while ago you will be firing blanks from now on.

Ramón I am surprised that you got PVP-you seemed so against it..you were alwys into all these natural things... what happened? thanks I still don't have that bad of symptoms and use many healthy things-like I am a vegetarian, no meat fish or eggs, no caffine. I am 58 years old Michael

It was ER once again, waited my turn for three hours in excruciating pain, blood droplets is all I could produce every five mnts, DejaVu. The proper three way catheter could not be found until a 26 started the flow, providing me with great relief. ENOUGH! Chose the Green Light vs TURP. The peeing although stings, it's stronger than ever. Full erections are a nightly ocurrence. Will wait a few days and see if RetroG continues. Hear, that the sex enhancing aids work on reversing RG. Not on any antibiotics, or Rxs of any kind. Thanks Ramón

Thanks Ramón thanks for telling me --not being able to evacuate/pee was the worse experience I ever had--this stupid homeopathic worked when all the meds the DR gave me to try failed..that was about 15 years ago--every once in a while maybe once or twice a year a take a dose of the homeopathic and the strong flow comes returns. Hope you pvc come out as well as many others on this site. What part of the country are you located in? I am in Dallas. MY UROLOGIST DOES pvp- he says I am not a candidate at this time. Michael

No dialogue given pro-con at recovery room. Tipical, we would all be better off if physicians communicate with their patients re cause and effect.

John - 16 Jul 2008 03:52 GMT I had my green light 25 months ago; still have retro. It doesn't bother me (but I am 61, so YMMV).

It will come back some day when SHE least expects it. I forgot how many months had passed since my surgery but it did come back.
davecory - 18 Jul 2008 20:11 GMT 3 days after surgery is a little soon to come to any conclusion. I was told to not even try ejaculating for 2 weeks because the muscle contractions could slow the healing process.
My experience as I recall from 3 years ago was that I had 100% retrograde for several months and I also had unsatisfying orgasms like they did not feel complete. My healing was slow by some standards, but after 6 months ejaculation was close to normal. Now it is fine.
You might mention this to your surgeon when you have a follow up, he should be able to tell you whether you should expect permanent retro based on how much work he had to do.
