Yeah, we do; from time-to-time, there does seem to occur a quiet
spell, though.

I have found this NG to be extremely helpful in the past; been
subscribing/corresponding since about 2002.  I had Greenlight laser
surgery on 23 January of 2007.  My recovery has been a bit problematic
though.  My bladder is still giving me a bit of trouble, since the
passageway is now quite clear, the bladder may still be confused
(Keeps spasming a bit at the end of urination events)...

  So have I.

Had mine in 2004. Had to have it re-done 4 months later,
because of 'scar tissue' hindering the bladder neck.

Been OK ever since, though flow beginning to diminish a
little, and last cystoscopy indicated 'bit tight at bladder
neck'.

Main problem has been occasional prostatitis (e.g. once a year),
which responds to antibiotics.

I found the laser TURP (overnight stay + catheter) easy to
undergo. In both cases I travelled home 24 hours after the op. -
once by train and once I drove.

Good to see you back here Maurice. Have not noticed you on the on the NG for
some time. Glad that you can still share your experiences with the
newcomers.
You seem to have moved from Hampshire to Surrey since last posting.
Derek.
