i had a turp 4 years ago and the BPH symptoms are coming again
Is recidive BPH is possible ?and a second TURP too?

Yes, it is common. But usually it comes later... but sometimes before
4 years too.

Very common but four years seems too soon. I had a TURP in October of 1998
and still have very few BPH symptoms.

May I ask any of you here if you have had a similar situation as I now have.
I had a turp 3 months ago and it appears to have been a success, flow is
good but a little leakage from time to time - no problem there.
However I have noticed that my urine smells quite strong or different and my
penus has definately shrunk or is more withdrawn. Is this unusual?
I have no problem with erections and surprisingly none wih ejaculation.

Did not experience anything you describe regarding urine smell or penis
shrinkage after my TURP.
