Dribble

I am posting to BPH because I've had BPH for decades and think it may be
related to my problem.

After urinating, sometimes when water is running in the sink, and
sometimes other times I dribble a bit of urine. Just a few drops, but
enough to be very annoying. I found that pressing up on the skin behind
my scrotum I can often squeeze out some more urine after urinating. This
seems to help. The incontinence inserts they sell in the drug stores are
large and uncomfortable. I tried them once for a day or two and quit
using them.

Anyone else? Suggestions?

TIA

Ken I had the same problem-it was the worse experience I ever had-not being
able to go,, The doctor keep giving me different drugs-he said the right one
would clear this up-never happened-went to a homeopathy Dr and he gave me a
real big dose of ferrum Picicum...and in about 2 hours I was passing water
pretty normal...you can buy lower doses on line--I don't know if it will
work for you there are certain rules for taking this stuff-like don't take
any methyl products-it kills the effect.
it has been over 10 years and I go great..I am 58 years old...nondrinker, no
coffee either..
good luck

You have been to a URO?  What do they say?  Have you had measurements
of prostate size and retention?

No. That would be my last resort. Only one uro here and I don't like
him.

Hi Ken,

I have exactly the same dribble problem.  It comes and goes a bit, but I am
never sure when it is going to be a problem.  I found the men's pads too big
and cumbersome for a few drips.  I have had various tests and scans, but
nothing found (other than BPH).  I have accepted this as a minor
inconvenience and now use women's thin menstrual pads.  They are a bit
narrow, so occasionally the dribble misses the pad, but usually keeps my
pants dry.
