For the past several months, I noticed that when I change sleeping position (from one side to my back or opposite side), the urge to pee increases and I have to go the bathroom to relieve it. Anyone else experiencing this? What is the cause? Then it is good. If you are peeing, then there was urine and it's good to get rid of it. No, I have not experienced this, and can't imagine a reason. I go to the bathroom and then return to sleep for maybe another two hours. Usually the pee passes easily, especially since I started on Flomax a month ago. But sometimes, especially around 4-5a.m., the start of the flow is sluggish. It's common for BPH symptoms to be worse at night. If it is bothersome enough for you, and if you and your uro have exhausted the med option (drugs, I mean), then you should consider surgery.
