I had a prostate biopsy and it was normal thank the good Lord in fact had
one 6 months ago was normal too. MY question is they said my prostate volume
is 52grams and urogolist said it was enlarged but I don't any real urinating
problems. What size should my prostate be at my age of 46?
My psa was 3.8 on 09/07/07
3.2 03/07/07
2.7 01/2006
2.5 01/2005

Prostate volumes vary all over the place, but my guess is yours is big
for your age. Doen't matter, mine is 3 times the size and I'm still
peeing (usually, anyway!).
PSA generally increases with prostate size. If it increases more than
prostate size, then that is a sign that something else is going on and
should be investigated.
You are obviously under care, as you should be with a large prostate
that seems to be growing. If you do start noticing some difficulties
peeing (possibly at night, or possibly when your bladder is extra
full), then I would suggest talking to your uro about a drug to slow
prostate growth -- like Proscar or Avodart. Depending, that can keep
the knife away for many years.
If the Lord was good, then my prostate would be smaller.

use avodart once a week. seems to be staying at about 40g. psa went
