Enlarged prostate (no cancer, no infection, GRATEFUL & THANKFUL) is my only problem. Gave in to TURP in '05 to save my marriage NOT. All uros agreed on dx: BPH Take no drugs of any kind. Do the Budwig Protocol and once weekly have a flaxseed enema. This nagging inflammation won't go away, it's affected my sex life for over 15 yrs. I'm 66 in good health except for the BPH. It's controlled by diet & lifestyle. The same should apply to the prostate. There is a study that men who took 100mg of zinc sulfate -their prostate stopped growing-I have been taking it for about 2 years- I did not get a sonagram-the size and weight of my prostate last exam-but I still get up at night only one time-seems like it has stopped growing.. I have to buy 250mg tablets and cut them in half-next Feb is my next exam and I will get it weighed.. Dr says is seems the same.. It would be wonderful if we could do that -- naturally stop the prostate from growing. But I don't think we know how to do that reliably and safely yet. Ed |
