I will be having the PVP done on 11/06 at 8A.M. What is the group's opinion
on my ability & the effects of my driving myself home (approx 10 miles)
after the procedure? Thanks in advance.

Paul,
Doesn't matter what our opinion is, they probably won't let you
as you will have been under anesthesia.

Hi,
Don't kid yourself, PVP is surgery and schedules are very iffy and
complications are possible.
I was scheduled for 7 AM and they got going at 9:30. I walked 500 yards with
help to my motel around 5 PM and I was glad I didn't have to drive. I had a
Folly catheter and was a bit woozy. Next day, after he removed the catheter
a new life began. Driving , walking and peeing was a piece of cake.
