I know the vast majority here advocate PVP, for good reason, it works.
My uro talked me out of it, he had good success with TUNA,using the
new Medtronic 'machine'.
So.....that's the direction I went. It has been 1 month now. The first
week was NOT GOOD. I have to say, part of the reason is that I am on
Plavix, which tends to make me bleed pretty easily. Had the catheter for
4 days, removed it, couldn't pee at all, just a little blood. So, back
in with the catheter for another week. OUCH ! ! !
Removed again, bladder voiding to about 85 to 100 or so. Still real sore
and uncomfortable. Still some blood.
Anyway, it's been a month now and I am 'going' like a race horse. Can't
remember it so good. All my other 'functions' are working just great also.
Thats my experience, for me it worked great. (my prostate wasn't all that
large, 35 or so, but of course restricted).
Only time will tell in the long run.
Good luck to everyone here, whatever procedure they elect to use.
It's great to be back to 'normal' again.

Zork

Zork,
I hope your improvement lasts for you.
My peak improvement for a TUMT was at the one month mark. After that it
started to go the other way and by six months I was back to where I started.
I sincerely hope that you continue to improve and your TUNA gives you
lasting relief.
Thanks for your input to the discussion. It does help other men who are in
similar need of relief from BPH.
Best Regards,
Patrick
