I have been on both Flomax and Proscar for about 8 months now with limited
improvement. Previously I was just on Flomax and saw some improvement at
first but that only lasted about 2-3 months. The improvement with both is
not as good as expected, still get up to go at night at least twice and
usually more often. I am thinking of coming off both but am afraid that
things might get worse. Can I just stop taking them or should I come off
slowly reducing the dosages over time. Or should I continue taking them
until TURP for which I am on the waiting list. I am only 52 years old.
