still sore

I had green light op 23/8/06

I am still feeling a bit sore

Hugh,
Less than 2 months ago you had a huge hole blasted through your
prostate, so yeah, it's normal to still be a little sore.  Took me
about three months for the false urgency and the discomfort at the end
of urination and the passing of clots to all end.  From other posts
here I think 3 months is about normal.  Do you have a follow-up
appointment coming up with your uro?  You could ask him about it then.
Most uros seem to do a poor job of explaining how long it will take to
heal up.  They lead you to expect that it will be all roses.  They
don't tell you about the thorns.
