Women do not have prostates. You can not get prostatitis or any other
prostate condition if you are a woman.
I hope you find a better doctor who can tell you what tou have, because I am
confused.

Siren:
Xatral is called Uroxatral in the United States, and is an
alpha-blocker: it relaxes the pelvic floor muscles. Another popular
alpha blocker here is Flomax. Most of us take one or the other. Women
have pelvic muscles too, so I imagine your doctor hopes this might
improve flow and reduce frequency...have you noticed any changes?
Be strong,
Clark

But they don't have prostates, so stop being misleading!

As she has grown a prostate there must have been other changes :-)

As ladies do not have prostates I can only assume that you are trying to
amuse us or that your doctor is a pervert who should be reported to the
Norwegian medical council.
Derek.

I would contact the police about the way the doctor abused you.

You may have not heard the doctor correctly and may have cystitis, which is
fairly common in women.

Could it be that you mean "bladder" but are translating it to
"prostate? You mention being "cut" along with taking an alpha
blocker, which could suggest bladder neck obstruction.

Transurethral Incision of Bladder Neck in Treatment of Bladder Neck
Obstruction in Women
Peng CH, Kuo HC
Urology. 2005; 65 (2) : 275-278
Outlet obstruction at the level of the bladder neck in women is
difficult to identify and treat. The difficulty of identifying female
outlet obstruction is due partly to the rather low prevalence of the
condition and a lack of standard criteria to diagnose it. Conservative
therapeutic options include the use of alpha-blocker medications and
intermittent catheterization. This study summarizes the investigators'
experience with transurethral incision of the bladder neck for women
with bladder neck obstruction.
