Has anyone had any results? I had the procedure July 19 ... Want to "compare
notes" with anyone who's had this. I'm 52. I'm drinking 2 liters a day.
Peeing all the time but never seem to empty the bladder. Still see blood
clots after two weeks.

Not familiar with the indigo laser, but blood clots and frequent
urination are common up to two months after greenlight laser PVP.  You
bladder should be emptying, though.  It may seem like it's not since
you're peeing so frequently, but that's probably a false urgency rather
than retention.  Hang in there Peter.  You're still in the early stages
of healing.  They don't tell you this, but it takes two or three months
for most of us.

Thanks, Steve. The Indigo can be read more of here:

I know the healing is long, I just don't like the blood. I take Plavix and
Asprin for cardio stents inserted 2 years ago. Cardiologist allowed me to
come off for 5 days, but wanted me back on. Urine never comes out clear ...
Guess it is faint blood in urine. I'm just tired of this. Not to mention I
want to resume my sex life w/my wife!!!

Indigo uses an infrared wavelength laser and does not remove any tissue
by ablation as does PVP or Holap.  The procedure is called
"interstitial laser coagulation" which is killing of tissue insitu.
Your body will slowly resorb the dead tissue so there will be no
immediate relief.  Not a whole lot different than microwave therapy at
least in theory and probably about equal in effectiveness..

Hi Peter,
My urologist suggested to have Indigo laser done. I'm just wondering how are
you doing these days after your surgery last July. I'm still debating whether
to have this procedure done or wait a while. Thanks for the information.
