It has been a month since my PVP.  All stinging, urgency, and pain are gone.
Good stream that begins with a little blood.  Sometimes a little more blood
after playing a few sets of tennis or working out at the gym.  I assume the
drop of blood that starts with the urine is standard PVP post-op condition.

If anyone has any feed back about the blood, please give it to me.  Thanks

Hi Bill,

I wouldn't worry about it.  Dr. Laub's assistant told me that I may see
blood as late as 6 to 8 weeks after the procedure.  It's funny how
these things go.  I'm seeing more blood coming out now--17 days
post-op--than I saw a week ago.

There's no pain associated with the blood, and just a bit of very brief
soreness in the lower bladder area immediately after peeing.

Dr. Te didn't want me to play tennis for a month saying PVP leaves an open
wound which can easily open with exertion - so maybe your bleeding
is self-imposed? Jim W.

I'm 6 weeks post PVP. I saw some blood at 4 weeks as well. My
urologist had warned me of this beforehand.
