OVer the past few years I have had many bladder infections.
BPH was getting worse and finally about 1.5years ago had
a successful PVP. Flow is great, make it through the nites
without waking, everything seems to work just fine.
But....every few months I still end up with a bladder
infection, the doc puts me on antibiotics, it goes away
and then the whole scenario starts over again ! Neither
my Doc or URO can seem to come up with a cause. Last visit
another infection, heavy duty antibiotics and here we go
again. Was told I might have to go on low dose anti's.
Really don't like that option, eventually I would think the
drugs would no longer be effective and if something else major
occured, would be in real trouble.
Anyone out there had similar experiences ? Am looking for
anything that might have been overlooked.
Am 67 and in otherwise good health.
Sorry for the long post, TIA for any help.

Hi Gary,
Two things that are pretty well-known (so you may have tried them
already) are cranberry juice and d-mannose. At least you can stay on
these things long-term without fear. Have you tried them?
(By the way, if you use cranberry juice, it's got to be pure, not the
stuff that comes with various kinds of sugar added. I add water and
stevia to it and it tastes delicious.)
