Anyone have it done on spinal or local in the US?
Temujin - 21 Jun 2006 21:41 GMT
I had it done on a spinal, in South Carolina.  I woke absolutely
clear-headed, no grogginess, but still had to stay in recovery for
three hours until I could move my feet.  This happened to me before
after a spinal, so I guess I'm abnormally sensitive to it.  I still
think the spinal was worth it to avoid the anesthesia "hangover."
Results are great so far, at three months - fabulous stream, complete
emptying, no discomfort, no meds.  Still some false urgency, but that
is improving.

Same exact answer.  Spinal highly recommended.
I was able to observe the procedure.  Bill Hale Loveland CO

Yikes..I don't think Dad wants to "observe". He'd probably rather have
it be done while he sleeps. But the risk would not be worth it perhaps.
Does anyone know whether the time for PVP is longer than TURP? Assume a
50 gram prostate
