Hello Group: Does the PVP Green Light Laser procedure work well on
enlarged median lobe prostates? Also someone posted that retrograde
ejaculation is almost always the result if the operation is done
properly. I think I heard something about aggressive bladder neck
tissue removal providing the best outcome. From what I read here, it
sounds like Laserscope is the way to go. Is Indigo Laser a close
second? Corky

I've had both; the Indigo was only marginally successful so 3 years later I
had a PVP which was very successful although I do have retrograde
ejaculation - which I consider a beneficial tradeoff for the greatly
improved urinary function. Jim W.

I had median lobe with 100 mg prostate. Last August, I had a very successful
pvp by Dr. Te in NY, although I have retro too. Like Jim said, it's trade
off. The only regret is why I did not know it earlier. Go for it !!
