Hi Frank...I see this is your first post.  I guess nothing lasts forever,
and the repetition does get stale after a while.  I think we have lost our
good doctor also (what a good person, and extremely knowledgable).  I have
sent several e-mails to him directly with no response.  I still check here
every day looking for messages, and to see if there is any way I can offer
any assistance.  Oh well :-) ...Pete

Pete,

We can't expect the doctor to provide individual and private
consultation to each and every one of us.  However, his broad coverages
are much appreciated.  I am amazed to see how much travel he does.  I am
impressed with the information he posts on his blog.

I certainly know that Rich, and would not do that.  I am sure you will
recall how many times I have praised Dr. Sancha (no one has done this more
than me).  You would have to read what I wrote him (I acknowledged the very
thing you just said).  I was simply asking him if I could report my drinking
tests (relating to my kidney post) to him directly because I didn't want to
bore you all with it, especially since I know many of you don't care about
my personal medical problems.  Anyway he did not answer me (he did answer
Buford once if you recall).  I would never abuse it, and understand the
principle of ng posting for all the world to see.

Furthermore, if he does not want to receive e-mails, he should remove his
e-mail address from his blog (perhaps its intended for professional use
only - I have no idea).

In case you haven't noticed, this group *is* starting to die.  It picked up
when Dr. Sancha first joined, and PVP's have been discussed to death.
Repetition does get stale like I said ("Spread democracy" made reference to
this when he left the group if you recall - although he still does some
lurking).  I will continue to check the group, trying to help in any way I
can.

Take care :-) ...Pete

Pete,

I did respond to your messages, but you seem not to get my replies. I
resent my messages to you. I was wondering what happened. I am
traveling now and the computer where I keep your messages is in Madrid.
I will return to Madrid the 2nd of April. Let's try it again then, and
make sure your email is working OK. I am waiting to receive news from
you regarding the tests you did and the outcome....

All the best,

Fernando Gomez Sancha

Thank you Dr. Sancha...I figured something went awry, since you are such a
caring person.  I had already sent a post to Rich (just above this) trying
to explain why I wrote you, so the group wouldn't think ill of me.

Something must be wrong with the mail.  My e-mail is working properly and I
just received two messages today from different sources.  It must have
something to do with my provider's server not accepting your server (or
something like that), although it will send to you - very strange.  I will
call them but I seriously doubt if they can do anything, because my e-mail
is working.  I know that newsgroup servers do not accept all posts from
certain senders, but I am not sure if the same concept applies to e-mails
also.

I will send you my test findings later (approx 2nd of April), but I won't
know if you got them (I won't bother with the return receipt crap, since I
don't want to bother you, eg you may have it shut off, etc), or if you
responded, if things aren't working right.  I'll give it a try anyway :-) .

Dr. Sancha...just a quick follow up.  I checked with a supervisor at my ISP
about not getting your messages you sent back to me, and he said you were
definitely not on any of their standard "blacklists".  I will try turning
off the next level spam filtering I have set with the ISP, and send you my
test results next week, and hopefully I will receive your response.  Thanks
again for your generosity :-) ...Pete
